The Farm
Arwel is the fourth-generation farmer to work the land on our traditional sheep farm at Cwmcoedog.
Lambing time is exceptionally busy between February and April each year when the spring lambs are born, and we enjoy sharing this experience with our guests. Watch the lambs being born or sit back and enjoy seeing them play and prance in the adjoining fields from your patio area.
We also have two friendly donkeys called Seren and Siani who enjoy being fed and spoilt by our guests
We house young cows in our farm buildings during the winter.
There are plenty of opportunities around the farm and the surrounding area to walk or ramble and to enjoy nature at its best – singing birds in the hedgerows and trees, red kites circling above the farm, Canadian geese rearing their young on the island in the middle of our lake, and night owls and foxes signalling their presence under our starry, dark blue skies.
